Sitka zipper pulls

I've got a few pieces from sitka that I like. After a couple seasons, the string zipper oulls are coming untied and disappear. Anyone find a good replacement for these?

I bought some of this Type-1 single-strand paracord for that exact reason.

I had the same problem. Now, when I get a new Sitka item, I put a drop of epoxy or super glue on the know. So far, it’s been a good solution for me

Yea i tighten mine with pliers when i get them and they never come loose. Ive noticed newer items come tied a lot tighter and dont seem to snug up any with pliers so it may be a non issue now.

It is slightly larger but close enough for me and a lot smaller than 550 cord.

Thanks for the pic. That looks like a good size. Might make it a little easier to grab w gloves on too.
I'm gonna try some pre-made ones with the little rubber nubbins on them first and see how I like them.

I’ve tied a couple with D loop material and they’re fine but some good suggestions that I think would turn out better

Just don’t forget where you stash the bag. I bought a pack of like 50 of those for a few dollars a few years ago. Replaced all the pulls on an old backpack, then stored them in our supply closet. Pulled them out to use once or twice more, then decided to move them to my wife’s sewing kit. Now they’ve disappeared into the void, and I can’t bring myself to buy more because I know there are another 40 of them in the house somewhere!

I lost one on a shirt I had. I emailed sitka and they mailed me a replacement..

I used Zing-It from Dutchware Gear to replace mine.
