I have been playing around with the system builder since it came out. I think it is actually a good lay out. I think it also provides good options. It has also helped me think of how my set up works. Has any of y’all looked through it and developed opinions yet?

I think it’s a great idea and layout as well. When I first started looking into Sitka or any “high end” clothing for that matter, I didn’t really understand why there were so many pieces and what the significant purpose was in terms of the whole thing working together. So I found as many podcasts and YT videos as I could which took quite a bit of time. This new system builder makes a whole lot of sense and should help new people tremendously. One thing the podcasts with Chris and John Barklow did was help me understand how the materials in different systems can work together. All of my big game stuff is worn in the tree saddle until I need to put Fanatic bibs on and then all of works for spring turkey too.

Ya it’s good if you don’t know what works for you yet. It will get you close but I suspect most will end up making changes because it’s impossible for a program to make it perfect for everyone. Only experience with what works for you and what don’t will get it truly dialed.

I’m still fine tuning my set up. I’m new to back pack hunting. Actually started last year. So trying to figure it out

Well I just bought what I thought I’d like. Then I started studying and reading. Then I realized what I actually needed

I think it’s a good idea. I see a lot of threads, many different places with questions that this will answer.
