I need to replace my old FL puffy. Looking for something a bit warmer. I would love to read more personal experiences from those who have used either or both. Or if there are some others I should consider.

Western mt rifle season this year with the kelvin lite down was awesome. Noticeable bump in warmth from my kelvin lite hoody I use in earlier rifle and late bow. Great puffy and never left me wanting more. Held up to heavy wind and snow as well. For me it earned top spot for the time being.

I own them both. I assume the SG is a little bit warmer as it is “more jacket”. But, you’re splitting hairs IMO. If you want something more “streamlined” go Sitka. If you want something more “puffy” go SG.

Also, the face fabric feels a little more substantial on the Kelvin Lite Down. I like both jackets and while I wear the Sitka more often, I like them both.

In for this info...How’s the noise factor between these two? I assume the Sitka is louder from the heavier outer.

I have the kelvin down lite. Still with tags on so hasn't totally got my confidence. It is noisy compared to other puffs. Comparing it to a Marmot I've had for a while. To me it is more of a streamlined puffy. Tight to the body and tight on the forearms. Im not sure ill keep it because i was looking for a puffy that felt like a sleeping bag on as i use them as everyday comfort as well. Maybe looking to get the Stone Glacier and try it out as it seems to be more of a true puffy comfort and soft wise.the Sitka is warm tho. but definitely a streamline fit. And noisier than anything I've had before.
