wow, thanks guys! so the new hyperdown is really that much "puffier"? Before I bought all the grumman gear (bottom and top) for an Alaskan sheep hunt, I kept reading how the grumman was insane hot and almost too much.... when it showed up I was thinking, wtf?! lol. Its decent but I hunt for at least 1 week a year in sub zero Temps with winds blowing anywhere from 10-20 mph and I wanted a big, warm puffy. Everything I read was always pointing me towards the grumman, but it sounds like this us more what I was after. I ended up giving all the grumman gear to a friend since I couldn't get myself to wear it, I was always afraid to rip it. He's been wearing the jacket alot, but it's ripped a couple times just from catching some material in the zipper when zipping it. I like the little extra weight to make the jacket more durable.
