Single Shot Mountain Rifle Build: CVA Scout

Glad i stumbled upon this thread. Here is my 6.5 cm. I also have a 350 legend and 45-70 v2 that is converted to a smokeless muzzleloader. I put one of the new burris full field 2-8x35 scopes on it. Seems to be a great pairing. Ill be ordering another one with illumination and the e3 reticle. The 350l is a ton of fun plinking with 9mm ammo.

I have a similar 350 pistol with a folding brace and the same Burris but with illumination. 19.5” folded.

This is the brace, 8.5” offset, polymer steady brace, and apex1913 folding hinge.

The illumination is nice just the cross hair lights up. I thought about getting the turret as well. The illumination adds 1.5-2 oz but I think it’s worth it. I had a full length scope on it but it looked weird with the pistol length barrel. I like the 2-8 because it’s so short. You get a lot of scope for the money. I think I got it from optics force on sale and used a coupon code. I think I paid about $150.

It’s about 6# but a stone cold killer, 2 for 2. I love how compact it is. If I was not is a straight wall area I probably would have gone with the 6.5 cr.

Just weighed it last night, ironically. 6# 14 oz.

It defiantly is t the 3.7 lbs they advertise.

This systems claim to fame is how compact it is. I do wiwish it was closer to 4-5# but i still like how compact it is.

Thank you! Yours is 19.5” barrel though not 14 correct?

Not that that will get it to 3.7lbs but would save a little.

I actually might get a couple inches chopped off the barrel. It’s not a long range gun. All 4 shots have been sub 100 yards.
