Single best pic you've ever taken

My son hitting steel targets at 1400 on a truck.
I have more esthetically pleasing pictures but I’m proud of this one

Snapped this with my iPhone one night. I’m a terrible photographer. That’s an understatement.

Forgive me for being a terrible photographer. Thought I was having a bad day hunting until I came across this guy. Somehow in the wide open spaces, he managed to impale himself on the barb wire fence. Walking along the fence with bow in hand, thought at first it was a fuzz ball or something. Stopped to take a look and couldn't believe his luck....

I'd hazard a guess that he didn't didn't impale himself, most likely a Shrike.

Great info 1badDart! I have never heard of that feeding behavior. You always learn something new from RS members.

Great photos everybody! I cant say there is only one that is the "best". I have several images I like for different reasons. Sometimes for me it is simply about the memory and experience for one reason or another. Photography is always fun regardless.

Here's a couple I think turned out nice. Hard to beat being there in person at those points in time!

Take care..
