Anyone else following this thread that have a higher round count though theirs? Mine will be just shy of 2000 rounds after yesterday and today's shooting.
My Scythe is well past 2k rounds. Mainly 6.5cm with some 300 win mag, 22cm and 308 mixed in. Vast majority have been 6.5 tho. I keep waiting for the day. I'm going out today to pop a few off, today might be the day. 😆

I’m well past 2k on mine. It’s all been 6.5cm other than a few (less than 50) rounds of 30-06 and maybe? 308 when I first got it.

Decided to play it safe and moved my scythe from a 6.5Creed to my 223 trainer. Hopefully I won’t be the first to blow one up on a 223…

Yeah, after mine got repaired, it spent 10 rds on a 6.5prc, then moved to a 6CM. I’ve since lost faith that is small enough, and moved it again.

I “needed” a tikka 223 trainer, and my Scythe “needed” a lesser cartridge to live on. So now everyone is happy, hopefully for a very long time.

So... I was assume that if there is zero color change in the can, it has not been brought up to 800F. Unless there is some sort of high temp oil coat/finish they put on it, but I wouldn't think that would last very long.

Is anyone actually making a big deal out of this in their interaction with SilencerCo? Just read this thread and I'm perplexed how nonchalant everyone seems to be considering we've all been seemingly scammed out of > $1k and then gaslighted that nothing is wrong. Below was the response I received from SilencerCo today expressing my concerns about what appears to be an elevated failure rate and potential danger in letting my boys use and clients use it.

Everyone reach out to [email protected] and raise some hell.
