$4.5 million reasons........I still don’t quite understand why they won’t buy these back instead of simply replacing them. Seems like more liability than a company should want to continue shouldering
Because, according to the idiots at SiCo, the shooters affected by these exploding cans are idiots too, as they always blame it on shooter error.I still don’t quite understand why they won’t buy these back instead of simply replacing them. I've often wondered how they can consistently blame the problem on improper use when repeatedly people on this thread state they were never asked any questions about it. The can was just repaired and returned. If they aren't actually asking questions when a can fails, how can they blame the user? Makes it feel even more like a cop out. You'd think they'd want to know if it was really user error or if they have a problem they should be figuring out. Feels more like sticking their head in the sand and hoping it goes away.Because, according to the idiots at SiCo, the shooters affected by these exploding cans are idiots too, as they always blame it on shooter error.
Add your voteMy Scythe sheared at the 2nd weld (closest to barrel) same as many others. Repaired weld is twice as thick as the original. Failure was from 7PRC 22 inch barrel. I will not be putting the Scythe back on any magnum but will continue using on my 30-06 20 inch barrel and cross my fingers it holds up.
