Thanks for posting this FC, I was disappointed to see the other thread nuked.
Was hoping to see that thread trend in this direction. Maybe that will happen here with kind responses, and even handed moderation.

We did see a video on Facebook video from a doctor (woman with MD from Dartmouth.) It scared the crap outta us with her take on it.
We've (have been/are???) planning on getting the juice. I'll grab her video when I can find it...it's got some serious allegations in it....

something must’ve gone south if it got nuked.

Thanks fatcamp for posting this!

if it stays civil (hint hint people) it will be a valuable thread.

Yes south - like into a different hemisphere. (But in fairness, it did go on for quite a while before it was shut down.) Fingers crossed on this one.

I'm not a medical guy, not even close.

#1: If you've had Covid and your body dealt with it. Then why would folks suggest you get the vaccine? Is the vaccine somehow expected to provide longer term resistance than actually having the virus?
#2: Considering the timeline we're dealing with, how could folks make any conclusions about the questions in #1.
#3: Does the Covid vaccine contain "Immune Booters" like squalene similar to the Anthrax vaccine?
I was given the Anthrax vaccine in the late 90's when all that mess was going on. I survived, but not so sure I want to spin the wheel a second go.

I've heard it said that if you've had Covid or tested positive for antibodies, that you should hold off on the vaccine and see how things play out.
To me this seems logical.

I'm certainly on the fence about it. I've been directly exposed by my youngest daughter. My wife and middle daughter both tested negative. I didn't have any symptoms, so I didn't test. (I did quarantine from work for 14 days). My youngest daughter had zero symptoms that she noticed. She is 16 and super active. I can't help but wonder if it was a false positive for her. My former boss caught it and I used to refer to him as Sgt. Slaughter. He is about as strong as can be and it flat knocked him into the dirt. They didn't know if he was going to make it out of the ICU.

I'm 54 years young. I have been exposed at least four times that I know of. Yet to get sick. I am not interested in vaccination. It has nothing to do with politics. I am not anti vax. I just cannot find a reason to inject myself with something that has not been tracked for even a year to determine its effects. The process used to develop the vaccine is a first. It has never been done this way. It is probably safe. As much as I have total distrust of government and media at this point, I still cannot fathom that anyone would willfully harm its own people physically.

I read a very interesting article where the writer made a great observation. We have no idea what the long term effects of this vaccine will be. He admits that it could be nothing. But most vaccines are tested for years to see what side effects or critical issues it causes. The smart play is to have the elderly take it first. Two reasons. They are the most vulnerable. Secondly, their life timeline is much shorter. So if there are ill effects, it has a much smaller impact than someone who is 20 and would have to deal with the issue for 65 years.

Anybody that is taking the vaccine today is a guinea pig, plain and simple. I have 30 to 40 years to go, am in perfect health, have no fear of the Covid and feel I can get over it just like any other flu or the common cold. I have zero logical reason to do this.

This isn’t the case when those pts go to radiology. The X-ray, CT, and MRI rooms are not setup for negative airflow. Hell, last week a nurse brought a pt down to my wife for an mri. The nurse was wearing a papr and didn’t tell my wife the pt was cv+ until she rolled her into the room. My wife was pissed.

wife had a CV test yesterday because she got run down and started feeling sick. She had done CV pts on Sunday night so hospital said she had to have neg test to come back to work. Got neg results this morning.

wife has worked around cv pts for almost a year now, almost daily. There’s a lot of questions with CV

One question I had is this...when you have a novel virus and are shedding virus particles at the early stages of the disease before you are symptomatic, when you wear a mask, are you increasing the viral load, thus making matters worse by continually breathing in deep to your lungs viral particles you may be ejecting from your nasal cavities?

inhave heard viral loading can be attributed to more severe cases like nursing homes.

it makes one wonder...

Ya, most of our x-ray happen in the patient rooms but we do have to transport for CT and MRI. We are careful to communicate positive patients. Luckily our facility has adequate PPE.

As to your question I have no idea. Most positive people don't wear masks as they are in isolation.

Looks like I will be part of group 1B for vaccine. Not sure on the timeline yet. I know the Attia podcast was linked in the other discussion. Some interesting information in it for those interested.

These concerns also exist with getting the actual virus. There are known and sometimes severe longer term consequences with the virus in some patients and we don't have long term data there either...

There's a lot we don't know at this point and all we can do is make the best decisions we can, based on the limited information we have available.

I wasn't going to take the initial round, but wife is getting hers any time (health care, treats C19 pts daily). After realizing it may be quite some time before another opportunity arises, I signed up.

Has there been a vaccine developed with some actual bad consequences in the last 30-50 years? Does history tell us multiple vaccines created have caused worse issues than they’ve cured?

LOL. Dibs have been called on my bows. Rifles and optics still up for grabs! :)

I came here to claim dibs on any guns. Probably be easiest if you sent them to me now and then if all goes well I could always just send them back later...

I'm hoping to skip the initial round of the vaccine but will reconsider in a year or so depending on the circumstances of the world (and if I had to return Fatcamps guns or not :D )
