Looking for a basic, reliable scope for my muzzleloader. All shots will be 150 Y or less with at least 95% being 100 Y or less. I'm looking at the 3-9 versions. Any thoughts here?

Thank You!

Trijicon Huron past the drop test and has the BDC reticle for holdover when you need it.

I've always been a Burris fan, but I bought three Fullfield II's from their store on Amazon earlier this year, and the ocular housing visibly wiggled on all three, so they were sent right back. Disappointment for sure. The Camera Land deal on the S1 3-9x40 is the best deal by far on a basic scope. That's where I'd head if I were you.

That IS disappointing. I had 4 different 3-9 FFlls years ago. Two of them on 338 Win Mags. Very reliable.

I broke a couple ff2's. Sightron is possibly the most underrated worst marketed scope mfr ever. They make a very good product. My s8 is what I gauge everything against optically.....and yet most don't even know that thing exits.

Just got 2 Burris a couple of days ago.fullfield e1 3-9 for with drop hash for mizzle loader, made in Phillipenes. Also got a fullfield IV. Made in China. Have one other Burris and a sightron. No complaints with either. Will probably send the China one back. Glass and price seem about equal to me.
