having just returned to wheels after years of shooting trad-not, mind you, that I'm giving up my trad bows in any way, i'm curious as to the distances y'all have your pins set for? My top pin is 20 yards, and I haven't set the other two yet. Whatever sight is on the thing, it came with the infinite Edge. It could be that I need to get another sight for it. Almost all of my future hunting will be from a treestand, and I don't take marginal shots out past maybe 35yards, probably not even that far. But I'd appreciate the advice!

Mine go 20-30-40-50-60. If I had unlimited money I'd like to try one of the hybrid slider sights where the last pin can be adjusted for any range. If you never shoot more than 40 then it would make sense to set yours up 20-30-40

Your gonna find that 10 yard increments will be sufficient. The pins will be to close to make 25, 35 etc. worth having. At 25 yards both your 20 and 30 will be on the animal. Of course this is if your shooting a modern compound??

I actually use 20,30 and 40 but my sight is movable and can adjust for higher yardage!
I practice out to 60 and figure that that is my max! Could probably shoot farther but figure that's what a rifle is for!

Yep, me too. 20-30-40 (deer-hog-elk....)
I've also come to this thing from a trad background & to me, 40yds seems like infinity! I'm used to 5-15yd shots!

30 40 50 and a slider after that. I used to do 20 30 40 but the difference between 20 and 30 on my new setup is only a couple inches.

Boy oh boy, that's sooooo true for us trad guys! 30's bad enough with a longbow; Kinda scary thinking you could be accurate at that range. Lots of trad guys have done it though-it just takes a LOT of practice.

Just got back into bows after a 15 year layoff. Equipment is miles beyond what is was but 40 yards is still a long shot in my opinion.

20 - 30 - 40
