This would be your most budget friendly option:

Or try to find a used HHA optimizer single pin. They come up pretty often here or on AT classifieds for not a lot of money. It's easy to make a custom tape with adhesive paper or tape and a permanent marker. Just shoot known yardages, adjust the pin as needed, then mark the tape. Easy way to try a single pin without much financial investment.
I love my optimizer, and I have done exactly that with the custom tape after adjusting the bow. Great sight and easy to find.

I would shoot a two pin vertical slider. Something like a MBG. Spotthogg is good but I don’t like the sight being on the wheel. Set one at 20 and the other at 30 or 40. That will give you everything you need. Maybe decrease your arrow weight some. Over 500 grains is way overkill for whitetail deer.

I shoot 60 lbs with a 26.5" draw length. My Spot Hogg Fast Eddie has a tap good to 100 yards. And I once had a tape good to 130 which is great for the Jamboree or a wounded animal.

Have fun.
