Need to mess with/ check my sight. Am I better off buying the hamskea and doing it myself or pay 25 bucks and using the bow shops. I am a capable but just don’t know if I’m money ahead buying my own tool.

Feel free to give me your opinion thanks

If you understand how to adjust it properly then buy the hamskea. Better to have it so you can periodically check it. Most quality sights won’t move but a quick check before a big hunt doesn’t hurt.

Gen 2 is better all around. I have both and use them together, but the gen 2 fits more places and is just a better tool.

The gen 2 also acts as a string level and has a bullseye level to level in every direction. As mentioned above its more compact and fits in more places. I still end up using both, but the gen 2 is more versatile.

You can set your sight with a normal level, then shoot up/down to check it. You should do that after using the Hamskea anyways.

I have the gen2, it saves me time with multiple bows. With a single bow/sight I'd just shoot it in rather than either of your listed options.

Yes, even after doing all 3 axis, shoot them in and see what goes on for steeper angles.
