After 3 attempts I'll never own another Leica Geovid anything. The Fury AB is a way better option if you need ballistics. If you don't, run as fast as you can to the GPO rangeguides......best combo of rf/optics on the planet.
Interesting. I'm curious if you've compared the Meopta Optika LR to the GPO Rangeguides? I'm looking at RF binos in this price range. Or paying up for the Revics.

You had the updated 2022 10x42 version? What issues did you have?

I had the battery cover break rendering it useless. No problem. They sent me a new one. But the fact that it wouldn’t range in the cold or any type of drizzle or snow made them worthless to me.

The 3200.com's, wouldn't range past 200 yds at freezing temps, wouldn't range past 600 or so no matter what. I will also say that the interface between those models and the Leica ballistic app was pathetic. Took Leica CS 3 stabs at it and never did get it right.

I have only used the Sigs briefly. They still have a blue tint, just not as bad. The Revics are still the best hunting bino LRF out there from what I have seen.
If I guy could get his hands on the new Sigs for roughly half off, 1400 bucks, are the Revics still worth it over the Sigs?

I received mine yesterday. It's pretty smokey where I'm at right now but I was able to compare them side by side with Leica geovids (3200.coms) and I was pretty impressed. The only thing the geovids do better in my opinion is the ergonomics. They are a little more comfy to hold and the eye cups seem to fit my face a little better. But I'm really happy with the Gen 2s so far. Hopefully get to test them out a little better this weekend.

Thanks for all the info!

In terms of sensors (aside from the wind reader), would anybody know whether the Sig Kilo10k ABS HD Gen 2 offers all of the features offered in a Kestrel 5700x ?

I have been hesitating between getting either:
- a Kestrel 5700x + lower budget range finder
or
- a Sig Kilo10k ABS HD Gen 2 and a lower budget Kestrel wind reader

I am usually at ranger 600-1400y, and twice a year hunting deer and moose within 300y. I normally just use AB Mobile on my phone and estimate wind visually. Looking to take the next step

Thanks in advance for your kind help

So i ended up researching this myself by speaking with a few companies and thought i would answer my own question in this thread:

Ended up going with the Revic BR4. All of the sensors are there, and they’re accurate and reliable. Additionally, their ‘base wind’ feature is a nice quick solution from which to build from.

(It spits out adjustments that are exact matches to my Applied Ballistics phone app.)

Looking forward to see how Kestrel creates a space for itself in the future. Right now, i don’t need much more than their wind meter 🤷🏻‍♂️
