Sig Cross

I have the regular Cross in 6.5CM with the 18 inch barrel. It's really the easy button for accuracy and fit. It's become my everything rifle with a 3-15 SWFA on top

I saw the new 6.5prc Cross in store the other day. I spoke with sig on the phone earlier and they assured me it was in the short action. They were correct but I did see the 6.5 prc version has some bigger cuts near the bolt interface for the bigger bolt diameter so it’s not the same exact small action as the original. I’d say it’s fair to call the 6.5prc a short action magnum receiver. Cool none the less but no barrel swaps unfortunately.

Hoping ti get my 18” proof .308 cross on an elk this November!

Use the mag that comes with it and has the feeder ramp and you can single feed it

I figured this out... I'm a little mentally challenged

How are you liking the 22 creed? I’m still rolling a .308 but like the option to swap calibers on the platform. Also, I like your leather cheek piece. I may have to copy that idea. Great looking setup! (PS…2 extra points for the thermarest z seat…a must have!)

What's everyone running for a scope on their Cross? I just ordered the short action Sawtooth .308 with the 16" barrel from Scheels. I wanted something short and handy with a suppressor, and a reason to get back to using up the lifetime of supplies I have to load .308 ammo. I know with the 16" barrel I'm likely limiting shots to under 500yd so I don't need a 25x scope for that. Something proportional to the stubby rifle, relatively light and in the 3-15x type of range would be plenty.

Accupoint 2.5-12.5 x42 on mine.
I've become a Trijicon fan over my past few scopes.

This will probably be an unpopular opinion but I have the sig sierra6 3-18x44 on my cross 6.5 linked to the 10k rangefinder binos but it works with other rangefinders and binos. You have to input all your load data but once it's setup you just range and it gives you the holdover dot. The newer bravo6 you dial and it shows your range you're set for

Congrats on your new purchase. I hope you enjoy your Cross as much as I have enjoyed mine.

I normally run a Nightforce NXS 2.5x10X42 and never felt like I needed any more zoom with the type of shooting I do (600 yards and in).

However, this past season swapped it out for a Steiner H6Xi 2-12x42 SFP which has been a real hoot! In my opinion, it’s what an updated NXS should be…great glass, capped windage, slightly higher zoom and a really good reticle…all the same size as the NXS I had. It also tracks well when dialing. I’d highly recommend the 2-12 H6X in SFP.
