I've tried lots of bags, I have been using the cloud 35 for two years now. I am really loving it. 1#7oz.
Its like a quilt, but has a piece of fabric along the back to stop drafts.
I have switching between a xtherm and a nemo switchback ccf pad.
Added in a mec deluxe pillow... 2#12oz.
Its worth checking out. . The self closing foot box is amazing
Its plenty warm, I always have a puffy jacket, gloves etc anyway... Never had a issue being cold.

I am a newbie but I bought the cloud 20 degree. I like how it’s kinda a mix between a mummy and quilt. No zippers and good for someone who moves a lot while sleeping. Tested it down to 30 degrees and was good.

SD makes some pretty good stuff.

I have a 20 yr old Syn bag I use on trips to coastal AK with a base camp where light and compact is not an issue......and it works great.

Just bought the cloud 20. Supposed to hit 28 degrees tomorrow night. Can't wait to test it out.

Bag preformed better than expected. I didn't use an insulated pad only my klymit X. Temp hit 24 degrees. I was starting to get chilly as the sun came up at that temperature. Super comfortable bag. The shoulder sleeve kept the bag tucked in without issue.
