Looking at New Mexico outfitter Sierra Blanca Outfitters for archery elk 2025. Does anyone have any current information or reviews on here concerning them?

I did a cow elk hunt with them a couple of years ago. It was supposed to be a guided hunt but our guide just dropped us off at various spots and left us. We hunted areas that had been burned over a couple years previous. I hunted 4 full days and never saw an elk. They talked a lot about how good their bull hunts were but we never saw a bull hunter and I was told they take bull hunters to different areas. There were 6 guys hunting when I was there. One guy stumbled on a cow and harvested it. We slept in a double wide trailer which was fine, and the food was sufficient. My problem, and the reason I’ll never hunt with them again, is that I never saw a single elk. Be careful and asked pointed questions when you talk to the outfitter. I did, and was terribly disappointed. Good luck on your next hunt.
