I am wrapping up load development for my 6 GT, at least I am calling it good for now.
In short, I've spent a lot of time and components to show that just about anything shoots plenty well enough. I've been having a limiting my wobble zone to just 1/2-3/4 MOA. Maybe I should have a more solid rest to do this load development, but I am also trying to put pressure on my own stabilizing ability with field gear.
Interestingly, I've found RL17 to be just about as accurate as Varget and RL16 with just as good ES/SD (ES are in the 10-15 range for each of these for 5 shot groups of each charge weight), and giving about 100 fps more velocity between their optimal charges. I have a good supply of RL17 so I think I'll be going ahead with that. The higher temperature sensitivity of the 17 doesn't concern me either as all of my shooting and hunting happens within about 25 degrees and I am shooting beyond 600 yards. The accuracy purest in me wants to go to the RL16, but I've only got less than 1 lb of that and I don't think the difference is significant.
The barrel is a prefit by Osprey from Patriot Valley, 20", .75" straight taper, 7 twist. I am using CBTO 1.982. Again, this is a 6 GT.

*ES's were bad and I was getting erratic pressure signs.
I've been using GRT along the way to help narrow down the testing ranges. As a bonus for the RL17, GRT thinks peak pressure is actually only around 57-58k with my most accurate charges. I did go up to 37.6 gr with RL17 to get 2885 fps and was probably still in the 65k range.
