Those 7 rounds after boresight on the 6.5 bravo w’ Norma 143 golden target represent the tightest group I’ve ever shot. I’m not sure how one measures that but it must be <.25

I recently rebuilt my 20” tikka CTR in 6.5 creed. Chopped/fluted the barrel at 16.5”, new high desert bottom metal and sporter mags, stocky’s tikka hunter VG stock. Previously the barrel had 450rds on it with no cleaning. I ran some patches soaked in C4 through the bore to ensure any debris from machining were removed, and fired 8rds to adjust my zero prior to shooting this group.

147 ELD-M in new lapua brass. 41.5gr of h4350 at 2.850 coal.

What’s your velocity? 2550? Can’t quite see what the chrono says

What’s your honest opinion on the stockys vgh? I’m thinking about putting one on my tikka and another for a 223 build. Would you go that route again?

I really enjoy it. I also really enjoy the rokstock having put some rounds through one. I didn’t jump on the early rokstock orders so those aren’t an option for me for at least a little while. The Stocky’s VG is a notable improvement over the factory CTR stock, and for the price I think it is very hard to beat.

Finally got 77 TMK's loaded and shot in the Tikka 223. Very happy with the results of the Varget load, as the horizontal was probably the shooter. Vertical looks great. Best of all, it shoots exact POI as my target load of 73 ELDM with cheap 2230c data powder.
The N540 didn't do so well and that's ok. One less powder to mess with as I don't load anything else with it.

9 rounds with my Tikka .223 and factory ammo. The 10th round is the one to the right. The gun fell off my tripod head on that shot.

100 yds, zero check on 6.5cm using 140 S&B ammo I picked up for cheap practice and getting the barrel broken in with 200 rounds. This is after about 2 months and 100s of miles driven in the truck on rough roads.

I bedded this one and installed home-made pillars. I don't know if that helped/hurt as I did all of it prior to shooting but it has always shot 1.2-1.5 MOA with ELD-M or this S&B ammo

Here's getting some rounds through a factory takeoff Tikka 243 barrel today to get it stabilized for hunting loads. It's a ss d18 contour, 22" and factory threaded w a scythe suppressor.

50 rounds. 108eldm and h4350 a low charge for barrel seasoning.

Using my pack as front rest and switching between bag and bino harness as rear, no less. I think I like tikkas in small calibers with suppression. I feel like it's going to cause me to have very poor/sloppy technique.

20" Tikka 1:8 243 in stockys carbon VG, sig SRD762 on the end, trying to find pressure with 87 gr hammer absolute hunters. started at 45gr hodgdon superformance. went up to 49 gr. wasted a bunch of powder and still haven't even gotten close to the supposed 3600fps max speed/pressure (24" barrel).... 49gr got me 3200fps

at least it groups ok for a 200 fps spread from 45-49grs of powder....

After lots of practice, I finally have a group worth sharing. Was practicing today and shot a 1” ten round group off a pack in prone position with a rear bag. Rifle is a RSS, Tikka 223 with 20” barrel, SWFA 6x and Suppressor shooting ADI 69g SMK factory ammo.

Orange dot is 1.5” for reference.

Don’t know that I’ve ever posted a 10 shot group from my 22GT. It’s got ~800 rounds through it at this point. Returned from a deer hunt and decided to check zero. The Leupold appears to have held surprisingly. Did not come off the gun during the string fired 1 after the other with no cool down.

That’ll work! Nice shooting.
