Show your Tikka ten round groups

I'm just getting started...

This is a 10 round group with 556 Frontier 55 gr FMJ through a Tikka 223.

Can I blame any of the spread on the ammo or do I just stink?

My trainer .223 did not like a lot of factory loads. I don't have a picture of any of the 55 or 75 (?) gr Frontier loads, but they were similar to the first picture here.

It really likes ADI 55 gr Blitzkings and 69 gr SMKs. Second picture is a 20 rd group with Blitzkings.

Here is my contribution. Worked up some loads for the .223 to see what a new bullet liked.
Bullet: Hornady 68gr BTHP
Powder: 8208 XBR
Gun: Stock .223 Tikka 1:9 twist

From left to right, 22.5gr - 23gr - 23.5gr

I believe the "flyers' on the far left group were from me.

That spread is crazy , from Terrible to amazing. Good on you for trying so manny different bullets and not giving up

Tikka CTR 6.5 creed bought in the classifieds here. No load development, just using the 140 eldm load from my previous gun. Take out the “flyer” and it was under a half minute. Nothing done to the gun except some sanding to make sure barrel was fully floated. Bonded a pic rail, and paint pen action screws at 65 in lbs.

My best group to date. Tikka 223 with handloads made of 77SMK factory seconds, CFE 223 and reused AAC brass.
The dot is 1.5” for reference.

Modified my zero today for a load change on the .308. Did its usual thing.

Took a new 20” .223 out as well. Put the first 70 rounds through it. Shot groups with 77gr SMK handloads, IMI 5.56 77gr SMK factory, 55 gr HDY sp handloads and some M193. Honestly I’m pretty underwhelmed. 77 SMKs shot the best, as expected. IMI and handloads were about on par but the IMI factory had the best 10 round group of the day by a tiny margin. Interestingly enough, the 20” tikka doesn’t push either SMK load any faster than my 16” and 18” 5.56 chambered gas guns. The gas guns shoot both loads tighter too.

Thats cute. I wont enter my 06 tikka in competition cause it wouldnt be very sporting.

Alright, I’ll bite, why ya being so coy with the info? Got any info on the rifles favorite load or what stock and scope setup your running or any velocity data? Not challenging your results, I’m skeptical, but if the intent is to generate curiosity by showing a 10-shot group that looks like 1 round from my 375 and not spilling the beans even a little… congrats, you did it!
If the intent is to troll or be a smartass, well that’s just uncouth sir

I get that part ha, I guess I should have quoted his first post with the grouping photo, either way, I took the bait, must be off my game

1st 16 shots after getting the scope re-dialed with my new suppressor. Tikka T3x light 6.5 CM chopped at 22”, factory loaded 147 ELDM. I was fighting mirage on a few shots but I’m definitely liking how it shoots.
