Show your Tikka ten round groups

No worries, it’s got a looooong throat, and it’s seated way long! That load was developed in 70 degrees anyway

New best group. 10 out of my 16.5" RokStok Tikka in .7". Front and rear bags, since the ROKSTOK SKELETONIZED PIC RAIL IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE GUNWERKS BIPOD.

Look how slow that Norma 143 Golden Target is going. It was 100FPS faster 2 weeks ago. I'm wondering
whether they use an extremely temp sensitive powder. It's 40F colder today.

Going to buy some more consistent factory ammo, how do we all like the federal premium eld-x line? Hornady eld-x is giving me giant ES, hoping federal would do better.

Picked up a new 6.5 bleedmore tikka today. I’m going to give the federal 130 AR hybrid stuff a shot. I’m optimistic that it will shoot great.

That is absurdly slow though..

These were my groups from today. Three from the .223 with 3-12 LRHS and one group with the .308 with SWFA 6x.image_cropper_8D59E8BE-C07D-4138-85C0-F1E5A42BD94D-1206-00000113D8A1A25F.jpegimage_cropper_06EED3B8-7D05-4DF3-8D2B-E4967FF7CDAC-1206-00000114D7153967.jpegimage_cropper_4BEB3333-97A5-4C31-BECE-F364A8450DA7-1206-00000115AA3D6E68.jpegimage_cropper_46521C9E-F712-4266-B6B4-B05D4A70FA85-1206-00000116B4D437E9.jpeg

The Berger 130 otm is hard to beat for factory creedmoor fodder

Excited to hand load up some 73gr ELDM this winter to really tighten this up.

From a MV ES perspective?
Those were fine (though it’ll spread out with more data). Group wasn’t shaping up terribly well. This 16” Tikka just loves 120 eld-m and 125 deer season XP for some reason. I’ll give it another shot with a larger data set. Was earlier this season, trying to run through 12 types of ammo in a single range session so was moving fast.

Ahh. The Federla Good Medal Berger 130gr Hybrid OTM has always done very well in 6.5’s that I’ve used. Has a higher impact velocity threshold (2,050’ish FPS and above), but has been extremely stable and consistent.

Started down the Tikka RSS 223 road over a year ago. Have killed a couple animals (deer and elk) with it. Cut it to 18", threaded it, installed a Lane Supressor , Stockies VG, and am 100% convinced it'll do this every time I shoot it if I do my part. I've shot it a lot.

The two I pulled in this group were memorable. As in, I felt my finger drag across the trigger. I have a hard time being serious I guess for ten shots.

Anyway, 100 yards. XBR 23.5gn, 77gn OTM seconds from midway, various once fired cases and cci primers. Front and rear bags on a bench at the gun club.

Best gun I've ever owned as far as being easy to shoot, killing ability and accurate out of the box.

I also bought one in 243 and have been on a journey getting that rifle to where I know it'll do the same thing every time I pick it up.

Raining, windy and miserable here today so I didn’t want to drag out the fancy gear
Took the plastic fantastic CTR Creed with 10 x Super Sniper, if I didn’t win the day it would only be by a point IMG_1876.jpeg

Put together a 16” .223 for my 5 year old son. It is setup with UM rings, SWFA 6x, and I shot it with my new Scythe. This is 12 rounds with factory ADI 69 SMK’s. My last 3 shots were the worst. The mirage off the suppressor was terrible. I was seeing two orange dots at times. Doesn’t mean anything cause 1.3 will do anything I need this gun to do.

IMG_4149.jpegPretty tidy group at 700 yards from the poverty pack F class gun
Tikka CTR 6.5 CM and 10x Super sniper
The last couple of shots got a bit wild due to both barrel mirage and environmental mirage, it was about 90 degrees and humid as hell
If you disregard them it is very tidy IMG_4147.jpeg

I see similar results w PMC 55gr FMJ. My position is often a realistic training semi-crappy fore end on backpack, rear on whatever I have, say a scrunched up hoody. I have shot from a better position and get tighter groups, but am glad to see your results w the PMC.
