Yes, some great loaded packs here. Hope to load a Alaskan Caribou on one this fall!

I found a Craigslist deal on a Mystery Ranch radio bag or something. The main bag was useless, but it came with a NICE frame, a daypack lid and a Hitchhiker 20. I was trying to put together a pack on the cheap and user @pods8 made me a deal on one of his lightly used personal bags, which he made himself.

I got to take it out for an inaugural backcountry turkey hunt this weekend. The turkeys weren’t gobbling, but the pack did it’s job admirably. I made a DIY gun bearer that toted my shotgun pretty well too.

Kifaru 26” Woodsman 2 small, 2 large pouches. 4 UL pullouts. Thus far it’s been phenomenal. Will order cargo net for it and perhaps a guide lid. So worth the expense. Spouse will be ordering one very soon!AF6ADC0E-304A-4543-93AC-04C6181259F4.jpegAD57082C-E2E8-47D8-9805-656570B04664.jpeg

I tried Kuiu but an a large frame with big hips and the belts do not work for me. My brother is smaller and shorter and it works just fine for him with the updated shoulder harness and belt. Nothing wrong with Kuiu IF the pack fits you good.

The Exo fits me just fine and works for what i want out of it. My brothers elk was about 3 miles back and that pack out was not horrible. A heavy pack is a heavy pack, but if your pack doesn't fit right it sucks big time.

Way more important to find a pack that FITS you well with what you want from it (heavy loads, 7 day backpack hunts, day use only, etc) and not a name, style, or color pattern.
