Good luck to him! Tell him to take it easy and not rush into things. I ended up having a second surgery on my labrum on my throwing arm after jumping into baseball season right at 6 months post op.My 13 year old son just had a partial RC tear repaird Monday morning. Complete tear of about half subscap tendon with a bone avulsion. Very uncommon injury in a youngster. He did it wrestling this winter. They were able to reattch the bone fragment in place so think he should make a full recovery. Time will tell. No other damgage to any structures in/around the joint.
He had the long term block and it started wearing off yesterday. He's a little painful but doing ok. Biggest hurdle is going to be keeping a kid from not using his dominant arm through the recovery process. Started passive motion yesterday. Goes to first PT in am. Will be nothing but passive motion for minimum of 6 weeks. Expected ful recovery 6-8 mos.
Where do you source this?My left and right shoulders. My right is bad. Bpc-157/ tb-500 have taken the pain away and I'm building strength. View attachment 1062369View attachment 1062370
Will do!. I'm not going to let him wrestle next year. Season will start right about 7 month mark, even if he's cleared. Well just play baseball next springGood luck to him!
