One year we crushed up tortilla chips and used those to coat the breasts and fry. We dipped them in my wife's homemade salsa. Delicious!I took a .22 pistol and suppressor last year. We busted a few grouse and holy smokes were they good eating. Breasted out and coated with crushed ritz crackers. Fried in olive oil. Same here. I’m there to kill an elk, and I try not to do anything that takes away my time, energy, or focus from that mission. (I respect others that do, though!).When I'm elk hunting I'm elk hunting not making racket fiddling around with birds. lol But on a slow day I could see how it would be fun.
