I figured out the user error part. SMH.You click into the firearm and edit it.
However, I don’t see how it’s helpful. It means your solutions round to the nearest whole mil instead of tenth mil. Unless I’m doing it wrong?
The best solution is to offer to versions. The original that everyone loves and doesnt want to change... and the new one that nobody seems to likeAs mentioned, we're working on a "Simple" solution option (user can choose to use it or not). I know some of you may feel this is still 'too busy', but this is getting close to what we'll be pushing out soon.
@Formidilosus mentioned the wind dial being a widget that you can inadvertently touch and disfigure your inputs. The same thing can happen in v1 with the wheel picker layout. So in this updated version, we're adding a lock/unlock button to disable/enable the picker inputs.
Also rather than sacrificing lead entirely, its a toggle.

Yes, to me having the ability to turn on/off what you want to see would solve a lot of issues.All this “you can tap here” stuff is not intuitive. No one should have to read the directions (at least not more than once) or have the developer explain the app to them. I think there’s an entire Silicon Valley season about that.
Velocity - I need to know the range at which my bullet gets down to 1800 FPS. Below that, many bullets will no longer expand reliably. This is more important to me (and many RokSliders) than energy. That tells me whether I have a 400-yard rifle, 500-yard rifle, etc.
TOF is nice to have, since it tells me how much could go wrong between bang and impact. But not essential.
I don’t mind energy being there, but I don’t need it. I suspect that many of your users like knowing this number, even though it is useless to me.
I appreciate your willingness to listen to feedback.
Edit - if you have the ability for the user to customize the order of the columns, that would also be handy. Or even to disable some columns completely, that would be useful.
Where are these settings? I don’t really care about clicks showing? I have my rifle data selected as MILS and 1/10th.This is a good point/caveat. If you have your output precision set to Nearest Dial, then you wouldn't want to set your graduation to anything other than your actual.
If you don't want clicks output, you should use Tenth for the output precision and leave your turret gradation = 1.
So right now, you have to choose between the two: hide clicks or get solutions rounded to dial.
Change both your turret settings from 1/10 to 1 and clicks magically disappear. It still shows 10ths mil on the other field.Where are these settings? I don’t really care about clicks showing? I have my rifle data selected as MILS and 1/10th.

@kndydevgrp
I know it’s been said multiple times so far but I really appreciate your willingness to listen and take suggestions from the users of your product. It would be really nice if more people/companies did this.
So, thank you, from a longtime user of Shooter.
