Just got back from my AK Dall hunt last week. But have already sent it to Dewey Wildlife and having him done like his with a different base.

My Dall is being done by Dewey Wildlife Studios. I decided to do both a Euro Mount with the original horns and a shoulder mount with replicas I had made by Wyoming Backcountry Decor. They work with Dewey frequently. To hold the Euro I ordered a base from Roostin Ridge and a rock from Van Dykes and put it all together myself. I wanted the euro so i could touch it - just something about holding those horns in my hands.

This is an awesome idea. May I ask how much a replica runs $ ?

He’ll know a little more precisely, but seems like Dewey told me it’s measured by the square inch. Obviously horn size will depend on overall cost. When I called WY Backcountry I think they quoted $1,700 for mine.

I paid $1200 for my replica of a buddies 201" ram that I got to help with. But I think he might have worked out a deal as several were done and he might have even paid a little of the cost

Nothing to post as I'm a <1 :D, but Monarch is local to me (Helena) and appears the work is pretty top notch, they are also tied in with Alaska Expediters which my outfitter in the Brooks uses.

So with any luck, I might be be able to add a pic!

It wasn’t cheap and can’t find the invoice. But I am really glad I did it. Handle it all the time. I bought the base and put the habitat together.

Monarch is awesome! They did my ewe, a buck, and have a life size goat they are doing for me right now. Stewart is awesome!

Finished pedestal below. Ram done by wildlife revolutions (love them too). Ewe by monarch.

I asked Monarch about a replica so I could have euro mount as well; they use an outfit in Wyoming to make the replica horns- it's spendy- about $2000.

They said it would be very (very) tough to tell it's a replica on your shoulder/life mount.

It is very tough. They use wyo backcountry decor I believe to do their replicas. I wish I had done replicas I’d my Rocky and dall.

If it's the folks in Cody. They did an amazing job. If you work with them directly it's only around 900. Unless prices have jumped that much

Replicas are on the mount. I wasn't even thinking about doing this until I got my hands on my sheep. Then I knew I would want to pick them up to appreciate the horns. I can't recommend doing both enough
