My taxidermist in Alberta is one of the best I've seen, but he is by referral only. I did the rock work up to my liking.

Fur and Feather (south Anchorage hillside), has been getting all of our business for the last 20 years now and I couldn’t be happier….actually, if he didn’t charge me, that would make me happier.

Probably only going to have the chance to hunt bighorns once in my life, so decided to get the taxidermy done right. Dewey Wildlife in Cody WY. Horns on mount are a reproduction made by Jenny at Wyo Backcountry Decor also of Cody WY.

In my eyes both companies did an outstanding job with my animal, and their customer service was top notch!

Not the biggest ram you will see here, but their work really brings him to life. Most importantly I relive the hunt everytime I step into the room. What an adventure!

As stated above, which ever way you go, get the real skull done in European. It is so cool to hold it in your hands.
Wow absolutely beautiful mount, how much did it set you back, AND how long did it take, if you don’t mind

Hope ya'll don't mind some "exotics"... don't mind the dust, we're doing some renovating:

I decided to have my sheep on a pedestal mount. I wanted people to be able to see up close and touch the horns. It is on a pole so I can rotate the mount. I can change it to a shoulder mount if I can my mind.
My dog is still not sure about the addition to the pack.
My taxidermist made some artificial rocks for the pedestal. I wish I would have thought to sneak about 10 lbs of actual rocks from the mountain into my guide’s pack.😌

I just got my 2020 <1 Club pedestal mount back from Dewey Wildlife Studio. I had the replicas from Wyo Backcountry Decor put on it and kept the skull/horns as is. They did a fantastic job. You can't even tell he had a huge gash on the bridge of his nose. Both companies were fantastic to deal with and can call them friends.

Monarch Taxidermy does almost all my work as they are located here locally, they do very good work and it is very convenient for me.

If they weren't, I'd probably lean toward Dewey Wildlife Studios for sure. Their work is the best in the business in my humble opinion.
