Sheds?

Hey Guys, has anyone been finding any elk sheds? Just curious as to folks' success across the west? I haven't gotten out in Idaho and I may be late but I'm going to go walking tomorrow anyway.

In some areas they started hitting the ground two weeks ago, but In this neck of the woods we have about 2 weeks until the first ones will start hitting the ground

Saw my first bull dropped two days ago. Saw 20 bulls that day and he was the only one dropped. Most of the ones still packing were 2 to 3 year old 5 and 6 points. The one that was dropped was an obvious tank. Covered quite a bit of ground once he left to find them with no luck. Found some old 6 point sheds and some brown muley sheds.

I saw a bull yesterday that had about 2 inches of new growth coming out here in Utah.

Took this pic tonight. only heard of a few browns been picked up so far. The one bull in this group had dropped but didn't want to bump them so checked an adjacent area with no luck. I'm in SW montana.

Saw four bulls in Oregon blue mountains yesterday still packing antlers. Heard they were dropping though

Changed mountain ranges today and saw 15 bulls all packin! 5 being tanks. Most every 6 point over 280 seems to be dropped in other areas. Another good day out though

Did a little scouting Sunday and lack of snow will make this area very difficult, literally no snow where there is historically 5+ feet. Has the makings of very bad fire year. Will see what sheds produce starting friday

What is a "tank"? Never heard that before, thought I had heard everything.

A bull typically with more than 6 points per side, over 6 years old, and scoring more than 340 inches per the boone and crocket scoring system.. how's that for a definition bud?

Hey Jon Boy, I hunted the Crazies during bow season this past fall for some of those Tanks. My buddy saw one and we heard plenty of em but were just locked out cause they were a couple hundred yards on private land
