This one might be beaten to death, but I’m gonna push forth here. Ha. I have tried just about every single pack known to mankind for treestand hunting. If you mention it, odds are, I’ve tried it. This year I hunted with the Shape Charge for the second time, not in a row but second time in a couple years. I do not mobile hunt much at all, mostly driving to a spot in my truck or UTV, getting out, walking to the stand and climbing up. Once up, I hang my pack next to the stand and we’re off. I have found that I don’t use half of the pockets or straps on this thing. It’s heavy even without being stuffed with gear. Seems like all of my stuff can go inside the Sherman pocket I have that goes on and off. What packs do y’all recommend me looking at for what I’m doing? I hunt in Kansas and Georgia mostly and like I said, I ride in a vehicle to a certain point, getting out and walk to the stand. I play the wind but I do carry an Ozonics with me at all times. Thanks!

I picked up a Latitude Ranger 11 this year and really like it. Sounds like it’d work for what you’re looking for. It worked for me even into the later season when you’ve gotta carry some extra layers

I mobile hunt and get by with a Rogan, I would honestly prefer a little smaller fanny and slightly quieter material. I haven’t been able to find a perfect one yet and the Rogan has been getting the job done. I’ve stuffed the few things I bring into pockets like j3h8 before and I just prefer having it all in one pouch.

Bow rope, bow hanger, light, compass, range finder and silky pocket boy. When you really think about you really don’t need all that much stuff to go sit in the woods a few hours.
