I thought the X Curve already had carbon stays, along with titanium tubing.

The K3 frame looks great and I believe shaves about 8-10oz off the total frame/package

According to SG this new frame is the one they've had available since January.

Either way, looks like a great frame

I think the bends of the stays are less angular and more 'curved', haha. But this is what I saw online, I haven't seen it in person.

Yes, this is true. I have the new xcurve frame and bends are less sharp and the stays are not tubular, but shaped like a triangle. It also feel a little more rigid or less barreling. As far as comfort I cant really tell to much difference from the old one.

Just a frame....rethinking my setup to minimize. I am not a big ‘pocket, pullout’ guy, prefer the simple. Thinking a frame with a load shelf and a load panel with a dry bag........

Correction: I meant to say "Rectangle" not Triangle.
