interesting. Did I read that right the budget was 800k and they’ve spent 2million. Or is the new budget 2 million??

$2 billion dollar hole in the CO budget as is. All agencies should be seeing cuts.

CPW has a revenue stream from hunters, anglers, and recreators at the parks that fund most activities, plus GOCO funds (lottery) for capital projects. They aren't as reliant on general funds for their budget. Although, If I remember correctly, the wolf reintroduction funds came from the general fund.

Polis is a lame duck. Doesn't need votes so no real way to apply pressure. He can also deflect to the CPW commission for the poor roll out and mismanagement of the program.

This whole thing exists because of Polis's husband. They are anti hunters. They would be just fine if wolves were the only animal in the state. It's embarrassing. It's a slap in the face to the most successful moose reintroduction ever seen. Vote out Polis!!!
Yea forsure. Crazy. Good news is he is done in a year. Hopefully the next governor won’t be a anti hunting wacko
