WTS Seekins PH3 6.5PRC Woodland Shadow

Seekins PH3, 6.5PRC 20" Barrel in woodland shadow. It's basically newish. Less than 50 rounds down range.

Here is the story, I have this same gun as well. I love mine. I talked my 81 y/o dad into getting one in November. An upgrade to his Savage. We set it up and it drives nails like all Seekins models do. He went to shoot a buck last weekend and somewhere in the transition he bumped the bolt handle up. Technically, out of battery. It's a very light lift which I confirmed with mine, another friends and this one, plus checked with seekins. It's that way by design. The trigger fired but didn't engage the primer. In his haste to rechamber, instead of stealthy pulling bolt back, he cycled it like a race car sending the bullet into the wall of the shoot house making a noise. Goodbye deer. Thus, his career with the PH3 ended and he said sell it. Have you ever tried to change someone's mind over the age of 80? I thought about keeping it myself and choosing another caliber but those barrels are not easily available.

Understandable. Thats a damn nice gun and very hard to get all year because of demand. They just came out with the 22 and 25 Creed or Id probably pick that up. But Ive got a 1/4 moa 6.5PRC now so I want to change up and pick up either the 1/4 bore or a .22. Thats gonna make somebody a sick gun.
