I am thinking of picking up a Seekins Havak PH6 in a 6mm Creedmoor. Does anyone have any experience with these? Also, has anyone done the barrel swap?

I have a ph3 7prc. It’s a great rifle if you don’t mind a little extra weight. Its definitely noticeably heavier than my tikkas and brownings

I have a PH3 6 CM 20" barrel. Shoots lights out, big upgrade over the PH2 version.

I have not done a barrel swap, but I did take the barrel off to clean it. Super easy. You do have to take the stock off (no big deal), then there's a set screw you undo and then you can hand loosen the barrel off. Reverse it to put it back on.

I have two complaints about this -
First off, Seekins doesn't have shit for spare parts yet. (bolt heads, barrels, etc) You can get aftermarket barrels made though, but they are a few hundred dollars more.
Secondly, I had a CB brake that was stuck on my barrel and I cranked on it and the whole barrel loosened. That was annoying, and I don't love that. I don't think it's an 'issue' because there's no situations in the field where you'd be cranking on your barrel like that, but it defintely caught me off guard.

Overall I do really like the PH3s, and my 6 CM absolutely stacks factory ELDMs in tight groups.

Not a Havak, but I have the Element Hunter in 6CM (PH3 action) and as others have attested, it a tack driver. No complaints, other than they're too popular, and thus I can't get a .223 bolt head or .277 FURY barrel...

I just received my PH3 BACK from seekins last week, since it wouldn't shoot under 4'' groups.... needless to say it is now back to not shoooting groups again... I ordered a tikka and parts lastnight...... sorry.

Brake (I need to move), 2811 FPS with factory ELD-M, though it’s still under 50 rounds, so I may get a bit more.
Speeds will vary per lot of ammo as well. I have one lot that was getting 2870 from and another I am vesting 2795-2800 from. Hornady pisses me off with this.

I will be picking mine up tomorrow after work and plan on taking the factory brake off and putting my suppressor on and getting it dialed in this weekend.

Yes, and they include the spent casing with your rifle.
Never got a spent casing with mine. And I have a few.
Glen was on a podcast I listened to and they don’t test every single one, that would take too much time. They pull 1 in every 5 or 3, I forget exactly and test it. They’ll stop production if they find one out of spec and get it squared away.

Lucky me!

I have a PH2 in 300 Win Mag an an Element 3 in 6.5 PRC. I’m regretting purchasing Seekins guns. Their great customer service is an urban legend. I have called multiple times since November. I’ve never had a person answer the phone. I’ve never had anyone call me back. I finally got someone to respond to an email. Now I can’t get an email response. The 6.5 PRC mag only goes in if I slam on it with my fist. They don’t have any extra magazines to send me and there are none for sale. For almost a year now, they have advertised the barrel swap capability, but after almost a year, none of the parts are available to make the barrel swap possible. I’m close to just selling mine and moving on to a new brand.

Bummer I was interested in buying a PH3 and swapping between .22 creedmoor and 6.5 PRC. I’m hesitant because im concerned about feeding issues and also curious about overall accuracy. Some guys say their ph3s are shooting 1/2 moa but I’m not positive. Sounds like Seekins customer service is intermittent.

I have a PH3 in 300 Win Mag with the 22 inch barrel. I have about 150 rounds through it. It will shoot 1/2 MOA with the Hornady ELD-X 200 gr, which is what Seekins suggests you run through the gun (that and ELD-M). I shot it out to 300 yards this past weekend and had consistent 1/2 MOA groups with that ammo. However, I haven't found another factory hunting round that groups as well as the ELD-X, and some ammo is just flat out terrible. The Barnes SGK 190 gr runs about MOA for me. I have a few more I'm going to shoot, but I just bought a bunch of that lot of ELD-X. That said, I have to echo what coachmks said above re: the customer service. When I first got the rifle I was having some issues getting it to group (was a combo of the suppressor not seating properly and the ammo). Customer service always responded within 24 hours, and offered to take it back to give it a look, but they strongly suggested I shouldn't send it back. I called once and left a VM but never got a call back. I also asked them a number of questions that I just never got an answer to; in particular, I asked what other factory rounds run well, beyond the ELD-X and M. I think I asked that question 3 or 4 times and they just kept replying with ELD-X and ELD-M. I'm not a reloader, but heard this gun really shines with a good hand load. Overall, it's the best shooting gun I own with that one ammo. And truthfully, with my last hunting rifle, I only shot one round out of that. At one point I looked at going full custom and the builder said they would only guarantee accuracy with their custom (expensive) handloads, so to me having to just shoot the ELD-X isn't so bad. Picture attached is a 5 shot group at 100 yards with a Dead Air Nomad.
