Have you looked into an SRS Arca Balance plate? Check it out. It’s not a long, full length rail. I think you’d see significant improvement in stability and shootability.
My buddy has one, waiting to see installed on his rifle! But yes I was looking at using that the as well

I like this option, I take it this option is going to require drilling?

Drilling and installing a T nut in a stock is super easy! And if ever you want to take it off, bondo, sand and paint.

Was debating cutting it down 20 inches. But I’ll try running the suppressor at full length for atleast a year and go from there.
I am a little late here with my comment but for $550 Seekins will swap your barrel to any length you want. I have an element in 7PRC too but I really want to get a PH2 also and have them swap it for a 20". I am not really a weight weenie for my style of hunting so I think I would like a little extra weight.

7 mm PRC. Only about five rounds behind it and all factory. I had load development worked up for it and will be picking up tomorrow. Unfortunately I haven’t taken the plunge into reloading, but I would say I’m just about there. I’m curious what others with 20 inch barrels are getting velocity wise? Factory 175s I’m being told from the reloaded are extremely hot. He sent me pictures of the ejector marks on the brass. I think I’m leaning towards the 162s, for that little extra speed, but would like to hear your opinions on this. Thank you. I enjoy the forum and learning more with every sit down and reading of the post on this forum

Have my 7PRC element delivering this week. Will have to scavenge my NF NXS 2.5-10 off my -06 as well. Are you using Seekins rings and if so, what height?

Ya seekins rings, I believe they are low. If you call seekins they can confirm what size to use with whatver you scope you end up with

I’m looking at the same set up for a remote New Foundland moose hunting with all walking, no vehicles, shots can be up to 500 yards, do you feel under scoped at 10 power?

I was going to put a Nightforce NXS in 3-15x50 but would love to save the 10 oz. Thanks!

10x at 500 is more than enough. Especially for a moose.

I have a havak element in 6.5 creedmoor, I’m ditching my 3-18 scope for the nightforce 2.5-10.
