Just curious if anyone here has tried "off the wall" scents in scrapes and seen any good results using them. I have heard vanilla extract but Ive never been brave enough to use any for fear of spooking deer. I have a crazy idea of trying some cinnamon extract as well, but again havent mustered the courage.

Anyone have any experience doing this? Did it work?

I find taking vitamin B complex a couple weeks before I start making my own scrapes seems to work better than just regular pee. Not sure why, but the deer, especially bucks, will hit my vit B scrapes more than regular pee or the fake stuff.

I also use Tinks69 to mix things up.

These were scrapes I made last year with my pee.

Cheers

That works, and also your pee. It woks .

Ive peed in scrapes before without much result one way or the other. Honestly where I hunt, they dont use scrapes often after early October. Not sure why. And when they do, it almost always at night.

Which other scent have you tried besides just pee?
