Funny!I keep a bottle of Lagavulin 16 hidden in the garage.
I also keep a Lagavulin 16 bottle full of Dewars in the front of the liquor cabinet.
That second one has been sucked dry by "friends" a few times.
Have you tried the Suntory Toki?Oban 14 it is. That will be my next purchase. It wasn't on my radar so I was surprised it had so many recommendations. Looking forward to trying it!
I think tonight I'll enjoy some Hibiki Suntory Whisky Japanese Harmony.
Cheers!
Not yet.Have you tried the Suntory Toki?
I have a few Bourbons mainly to enjoy when my dad comes over. He doesn't care for Scotch. He's a Kentucky boy. Angel's Envy, Buffalo Trace, Evan Williams Single Barrel, Woodford Reserve Double Oak (and the Rye version). They have grown on me over the past year. Prefer Scotch but no issues enjoying some Bourbon.I'm normally more of a bourbon or rum drinker but I always have a bottle of Lagavulin 16 and Aberlour A'Bunadh around one for peat, one for sherry sweet.
No judgement. It's all good. I hike back in and set up camp. No ETOH for me. My pack is already heavy enough.I dont want to sound effeminate, but rather than whiskey or beer (which is what most men drink back in camp after a long day of hunting) I have a strong preference for Italian and Spanish wines. I always take 1 six pack of Coors but the rest is red wine (Sangiovese, Tempranillo, and Garnache).
