My good friend shot an antelope with a really high prong and the third mass measurement falls in the prong. I don't see anything in the online literature about this scenario. It obviously changes the score a decent amount. Does any one have any insight on how to score this thing?

D2 below the prong if the start of the swelling of the prong is in the way
D3 above the prong if the start of the swelling of the prong is in the way

Getting D3 to fall below the prong is the only way to ever get close to 80".
We have shot 15" goats that didnt make booners because their mass wasnt high enough to capture that D3 measurement below the prong.

It needs to be noted that Pope and Young does not apply those rules for pronghorn killed with a bow, only B&C. There must ALWAYS be two measurements below and two above, regardless of where the mass measurements fall on the prongs.

Thanks for this information. It applies to my 2017 Buck. It allowed for almost 6 inches total. Ended up 80 5/8 gross and 79 2/8 final. Prior score was 73 6/8 final.
