I have a bolt action slug gun that wears a Burris Signature HD 2-10. It kicks just as hard and has nearly identical ballistics to my muzzleloader loads. No shift in zero and tracks spot-on. Really not much need for more than 10x out to 300y. If CO allowed scopes I'd swap it over to the muzzy with zero hesitation.
God no, don’t wish for that to happen in Colorado.

I have the VX Freedom Ultimate slam set up for my Traditions and used it in Utah to kill a bull, but in WA can't use scopes, so it is set up with peep sights also.

I'm happy the CO regs don't allow it. It's surprising that some other states haven't followed suit with full-bore bullets and iron sights. Otherwise it's just another rifle season with more wounded animals.

A friend gave me a scope he couldn't use, I thought what the heck and mounted it on my Apex 45-70, which has since been converted to sml. It is a Konus Pro 3-9x50IR. It has held up to hundreds of shots. Not a bank breaker but a good scope for the money.
