WTS schmidt bender klassik 6x42 30mm A8 hungary

This is a schmidt & bender 6x42 30mm A8, made in hungary. It comes with an s&b box and papers. As you see in the pics, it does have some rubs and a couple nicks on the scope body. There are no ring marks, lenses look great, and view looks great. i will need either electronic cash or a FTF deal with normal cash. 650 shipped conus. please PM or post with any questions.

Can these be retrofitted for elevation turret?

Good question about the age. I am not sure to be honest. I will hazard a guess of 5-15 years I picked it up used maybe 3 years ago. The older models with aluminum tube have a different symbol on the eyepiece.

About new turrets. The s&b website says the klassik series can be fit with a BDC turret. However it just lists a few variable power klassik models and not the fixed 6x or 8x. So probably negative on that.

I have a 6x42 that I sent in a few years back to have the 3.2 BDC dial added to. It was new at the time. I know they asked about the shape of the area around the dials to determine if a BDC could be added. I guess there were some older models they couldn't be added to but they would add them to more recent production models....at least at that time. Now I'd want the 4.8 if it could be added but 3.2 was the only option at the time.
