Wondering if anyone here ran KUIU booths from few seasons ago which were made by Scarpa? Or New ones under Scarpa own name that released this past Fall.
They also have new models coming Spring ‘26 w/out KUIU name On it but its same boots.
I’m in market for both earlier season and later season boots and I’ve been extremely happy with how well my Scarpa Zodiacs have done past few seasons. So looking at both of these for later this year.
Wondering if anyone ran them in the past?
All feedback is appreciated

I have 3 pairs, 2 KUIU and 1 Pre-KUIU, bloody awesome boots, I use them for our shoulder seasons- great support, sock fit is real nice too. I use the Aequilibriums for Summer or if I know I'm gonna get wet feet

I went a full size larger on all pairs, and fits way nicer than actual size

Haven’t worn them, but they follow same format as all other scarpa and La sportiva lightweight mountaineering boots: complex synthetic construction (ie moderately durable), probably very narrow, and stiff soles suitable for sustained crampon use. If you plan to do class 4 climbing and using crampons regularly on your hunting they will probably be OK. Don’t expect the goretex to last more than a few years. Me personally I prefer a much more flexible, all leather, simple mtn boot. Hoffmanns summit is my fav.

A equilibrium are LaSportivas right? I looked at those if I wanted a pure scouting/hiking lightweight boot. But want somethingnlittle more robust for huts.
I am thinking Rebel as early season and REvolution and later seasons.
I will be going up at least 1/2 more on next pairs as current pair is tight with Superfeet Hike insole
Out of two I mentioned which ones did you wear ?

Yeah they are the La Sportivas, I haven't had any issues with mine and hunt most weekends in New Zealand.
They have held up well, just aren't designed for serious scree slides.
The R-Evolution K8HDs are my KUIU ones and the non KUIU are the Rebel model

I ran a pair for part of a season. We'll made & light weight. They were just too narrow & stiff for my feet. Since you've had good luck with other Scarpas, they should do well for you.
