WTS Scammer alert**** user: DE3R do not send him money

I recently made a post that I am looking for a set of leica geovid hd-b binoculars. This user reaches out to me via phone and sends photos. Tells me he can do certified check. After sending me his info I did a quick search and turns out he has been scamming other on other forums. See screenshots. I am new here and do not know how to report. Do not send this man money.

Ya he photoshopped pictures from another posting and changed the background on them. Need to be careful. Unfortunately alot of snakes on all forums doing this. He went as far as photos hopping a drivers license in the photos.

Compare the photos to link below. Always do your research before sending money. His phone number is to a complete diff person on "beenverified" app I use.

anyone posting a WTB should expect to be hit with 99% scam replies. I say this even though I have a WTB ad up. Only do protected payment methods, insist on talking to the person and seeing the actual item in a video chat, and don't go through with it if you have any doubts. I tell this same thing to anyone looking to buy from me.

Even on WTS, I run into scammers with the payment scam where they say they've paid and then you get a fake email from a fake PayPal or zelle email or they say they will send you money to "upgrade your account" or some bs like that and you have to send them money back. Be careful out there folks.
