My PRC did it every time until I mounted it higher, it bounced back into the loading port causing a jam, different cartridges may give different results

I have tried a lot of different ammunition in this rifle, but my groups just didn't seem to be getting smaller. Perhaps this is why?
I have emailed Sauer about it and I expect to hear back from them shortly. I guess this is just my opportunity to see how responsive they are and how much they honor the warranty?

No, it's the 6.5 CM.
Did exactly the same, on 4 different Sauer 100s so far. All sling lasers.
But that's the same wood stock that they put on all their other 100s right? I can't imagine overloading a 6.5 Creedmoor enough that it could match the recoil of a 30-06, let alone your 9.3. I think you're right, I'd bet flaw in the wood, especially for that location.I had mine at 60 on the 6.5 CM. I don’t think that 60 contributed to the stock cracking.
If anything, apart from a flaw in the wood, I am inclined to blame some of the factory ammo. Some of the S&B factory loads had some slightly hard bolt lift. The Fiocchi 129-grain PSP had some hard bolt lift and extractor marks. I noticed that the day before yesterday, but since I wasn’t going to use them again, I didn’t think anything more of it. I have a hard time believing that a factory load in a 6.5 CM would crack a stock absent a flaw…

Sorry to see your issues. I don't think your problem was the ammo. It looks like your bolt was making contact with the stock and not allowing the bolt to seat fully in the downward position. I have a standard XT. Thinking about picking up another one just not sure it's worth the extra $240. The bolt knobs look like they are threaded on? At least on my standard XT.
Not sure how accurate this is, but euro optic says the weight difference between the XT and the Pantera XT is less than an ounce.
