Sauer 100 6.5 Creed review

I will report back after I receive it and shoot it. By the way, would you remind me of the recommended torque values for the stock screws? I know that was posted here somewhere…and I recall that the values are different for the front screw as opposed to the rear screw.

It’s post #15 in this thread.

Per Blaser Group in an email to me:

S100 torque specs:

Front nut under the floor plate 44 inch/lb

2x Floor plate bolt 35 inch/lb

Stock = hand tight

The wooden stock ones were $600 back then too. I am curious to hear how well yours shoots.
I put a different scope on it tonight. Leupold VX-R 3x9x40. I torqued the front action screw to 45 inch pounds and the rear one to 35 inch pounds as I saw, I think, in this thread as being recommended by Sauer. I lightened the trigger a bit from its factory setting. I did the initial zero at 25 yards and shot one hole 5 shot groups one inch below the bullseye. I will shoot it at 100 yards tomorrow.
