Does anyone have a Sauer 100/101 or Mauser m18/m12 in a 300 win mag. I trying to find out the overall inside mag length for case oal for a 300, if it’s sammi only or if it has any room to get heavier bullets up to 3.5/3.6 oal. Thanks.

No, but they're all built on the same action, and the shorter calibers just block off the back of the mag.

Using that assumption, here is a 308 mag with calipers set to 3.4", I'd bet the 300wm mags are no longer than that.

Hope that helpsIMG_20260414_201912037.jpg

I compared a long (30-06, etc) and a short (.308, etc). The long measures 3.4” maximum. I don’t see how the .300 win mag one could be longer than that based on the wall thickness for the magazine. This is the long one.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking, shorter 3006 mags for a 300 keeps you at spec and rules out some of the longer bullets. Still a nice rifle, may just go the 06 route or a 7mm.

You could always message EuroOptic and see if Jake can measure the .300 WM for you if you want to be sure.

My two Sauer 100s are in 6.5 CM and 9.3x62. Both very nice rifles.
