Looking for archery lessons for my wife in San Diego. Any recommendations with names, number or website would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

She has been there, and its where she bought her bow, but unfortunatly his trainer is leaving and a new guy is stepping in.

Bow N Arrow Shop all the way. I believe San Diego Archers have events for new shooters. Could be mistaken on that. They’re worth an email.

Called the bow and arrow shop and they told me to call archery house and lionheart academy. Left messages so I'll see what they cost and how their availability is.

Seems like lionheart is mostly about classes and geared towards kids and teens. I know my wife is looking for more of a one on one type of lesson. Willow creek uses an Olympic coach but she only works out of their facility in Escondido or the lake Poway archery range which is too far to travel during the week when she has time to go.

That’s the problem with living here. Hard to find much in regards to a hunting lifestyle. Doesn’t sound like you spoke with Bruce at the BNA Shop. I’d load up the wife and her bow and pay him a visit. He’ll tune up her form and bow if needed. I went in there at least once a week to get tuned up and Bruce was more than happy to see me each time. Out of respect to him and his business, I always made some kind of purchase. I’d argue with him to take $20 for his time on occasion. He ALWAYS declined. He just wants to share his passion. Lol, he’ll tell ya too.

I don’t get in there near enough these days due to long hours and the family but, it was just enough information and correction to get me where I needed. After that it was lots of sessions at Balboa and my shooting block on the side of the house. I’m no expert archer by any means but, with his help, I’ve far exceeded my expectations and hit what I shoot out to 110 yds. I’m telling you, he’s absolutely worth the time.
just tryin to help ya out... fine tune her form, her bow and shoot like crazy. The rest will come.

Thank you for taking the time to write that. I am planning on going in there today and will make sure I speak with Bruce. I'm not sure if it was him or someone else that I spoke with on the 2 prior occasions that I went there. I don't even know if the guy told me his name truthfully.
