So I currently use trail runners as my hunting “boot”, flexible, light and fast. However, I have a 10 day elk hunt in New Zealand (I live here) coming up so it’s time to up my boot game. I’ve tried stuff boots before and didn’t like it at all, so looking for a happy medium. My two current choices are between;
Salewa Mountain Trainer/Rapace
And
Crispi Summits. (I’m limited in what models we can get here)
Salewas fit nicely and waiting on the crispis to try on. I’m not a fan of the all leather boots, hence looking at a synthetic mix.My question is durability/comfort wise, which do you prefer? Price point is about the same for both.
