I suspect that if Sako decided to offer their entire 90-series offerings as barreled actions, they would inflict some serious hurt on the 700 clone market.
I have a deposit on one of your first Grizzlies when they show up.1-8 & 1-12
Yes, It applies to the Tikka's as well - Im getting in some 9.3x62 tikkas and other fun stuff soon
Grizzlies should be showing up soonish, Im getting stainless hunters in the doors now, got quest ultra's a couple weeks ago
Aside from my 9.3x62, I don't think we have sold one of them yet
Pm me if your interested, Happy to help!
Thanks
Jake
The new threaded barrels are 20” instead of 22”. So, waiting for a takeoff barrel won’t save you velocity. You should only lose 50-100 FPS at most from a 2” chop. And you gain the advantage of suppression. My 16” AR is sending AAC 77-grain OTMs at 2692 FPS. I expect to get about the same performance out of a bolt gun.

I knew this question would come.. lol
Were trying to get bare actions for you guys, In the meantime the cheapest XS rifles are gonna be the Varmints in 223 & 222
Sako used to sell actions, they can do it again!!! I’d be in for atleast two
We would certainly underwrite the mini action mold and possibly the short.Stocks would be the roadblock. There just aren't many (any?) options out there. There would need to be a large demand to justify a stock maker making a mold for a new stock. I doubt there would be enough demand. The multiple action sizes adds to the problem since it's not just one size like Tikka or 2 sizes like a 700...I think there are 5 action sizes in the 90.
I'm not arguing against them selling actions. I'd love to build off one, but unless someone is wanting a custom wood stock it would be tough to find a stock for them.
