To be clear, I have zero dog in this race. He could very well be guilty of everything they say. I just know enough to wait for the facts to come out. If you want a recent example of LE being corrupt and not forthright in dealing with the public as it relates to game violations, here is a fun listen. I use Buffalo Bore bullets in my bear pistols while elk hunting.

Everything is rarely as it seems when it comes to being caught up in the judicial system.

This is like the 4th or 5th post about this… You make a good point about letting the legal process piece play out, but I do not think (respectfully) it needs a separate thread/post to articulate that.

Fair enough, I didn't read any of the other threads. Just is surprising to me the "hang him now" crowd that exists given the repeated stories of judges and LE being corrupt these days.

Game Wardens/Police are there to find game violations and they will try to slap you with several charges in one shot. When you're a social media personality hunter, every video you post will be analyzed and scrutinized. So if you're playing some B-role video of a unit you don't have a tag in, its assumed you're hunting the wrong unit. I'm not sure why people get so excited over someone getting hit with charges. We're all human. Whomever is without sin can cast the first stone

Considering that the owner of Buffalo Bore has bragged about shooting grizzlies in Montana and not reporting it in the past, I don't consider him trustworthy. Granted, it was a long rant about what a tough man he is from over 10 years ago, so I'm not sure I believe he actually has done it, but that still doesn't help his case.

Charges that are undeserved are not evidence of corruption. There is a reason we have a right to a trail by jury (which still isn't perfect). Corruption would be something like manufacturing evidence, withholding exculpatory evidence, Etc. That stuff does happen, but advocating for due process in one case by abandoning it in another undermines your argument.

Actually, more often than not, when it comes to game and fish violations they often are what it seems. How many influencers have been busted "wrongly" vs those who were in fact guilty?

They’ll go to great distances to trap someone.

Personally, I think anyone making money off of hunting voyurizm is on par with pornosites. If I kill a nice trophy, I won't take a picture of it let alone post it for bragging rights. I have the memories and the horns, why do I need pictures. When I was in my 20s I was very good a killing geese. I got accused of killing them with a rifle and took a couple years to get the local game warden off my butt. I finally had to take him hunting.

I don't say anything to anyone about my hunting success or failure.

Exactly.

I have been surprised by the amount of vitriol spewed on here by fellow hunters before this case has even went to court.

I had pretty much the same exact thing happen.

That particular warden and I hunted one of "his" river spots ( I had in fact hunted there before but it was for sure skating thinly on being legal)....After the first three barrages of gunfire, we had 12 police cars lined up across the bridge below us with their flashers on. I said "Do you want to go see WTF they want?" He said : "No. I'm hunting...F-them"

They were ALL waiting at the ramp and I was damn glad he was with me hunting that day....lol

Before he left in his truck (after he set the tone with the town clowns) he said "You want to hunt here again tomorrow?" And we did. lol

That Warden and I became close hunting partners over the years. He was always impressed by how I went the extra mile to be 100% certain of every detail.

I take pictures becasue memories fade and my dogs dont live long enough.

But didn't you comment and post the same video in at least one of them?

Whether you're trying to "rep" Buffalo Bore, or defend Ryan without personally knowing him, this post is cringey. I expect it to derail and get locked soon, like the other 4 or 5 predecessors.

"rep" Buffalo bore?? I have no idea who the guy is other than I shoot Buffalo bore ammo in my pistol like I said. I did comment on the other closed Lampers thread, but I've never seen the video in question until this morning when it popped up in my YT thread.

Agree wholeheartedly. You have to respect the animal. Plus, we ain’t taking pictures when we go …only the memories.

There is always going to be those that get off on watching someone else burn. Especially someone who’s had some success. They are unleashing their frustrations, anger, failure on whatever scapegoat they’ve found to blame for their grievances. Ready and waiting with pitchforks and torches instead of doing something that actually helps fix an issue or focusing on improving their own lot.

Glad i made the decision NOT to ever buy BB ammo again. Their customer service is pure garbage. Wont hurt my feelings if his charges stick.

Charges that are undeserved are not evidence of corruption.

I have to disagree with this - it corrupts the system and justice in general to charge people with crimes they did not commit. It's the very difference between having a justice system, or a legal system.

Every additional charge financially damages the person needing to defend themselves - that alone should make BS charges illegal. At a minimum, it makes it harder to defend against a more legitimate charge, creating an unjust and unfair situation. People are absolutely destroyed with this kind of legal corruption - even if it's not technically illegal.

I’m way out of touch but this is like the 5th thread I’ve seen on this individual. Was he particularly “famous” to see such an influx of threads compared to other internet hunting dudes?
