RX-Ultra or Carbon Defiant 34

I got my defiant with the updated cams (I think 2.1 cams) and never had an issue.

It shot fixed blade BHs out to 60 quite easily.

I guess the difference being mine was not the carbon version.

The original cams really gave the bow a bad rep. Seems like the revised cam fixed the issue but the bow has never gotten passed the original issue.

I've owned both a Carbon Defiant and an RX3. They both tuned as easily as any other Hoyt I've shot. I wouldn't hesitate to own either again but as mentioned earlier I'd just be mindful of the RX3 sight mount and make sure you have an updated version.

And that’s where I’m somewhat torn on the topic of how far to go back haha I don’t mind it necessarily seeing as all I ever hear is that newer models aren’t worth the extra cash. To each their own I suppose.

I have the RX-1 and RX-4 Ultras. I love them both, but the RX-4 seems, to me, to be a good bit more quiet. I have been told that the RX-4 fixed the RX-3 problems mentioned above. As for the pricing, I have seen a few sell here used, as I winced over the difference they were asking and what I paid....
