Ruger Gen 2 Ranch vs Patrol

Looking at the Ruger website it appears that except for a couple minor details, fluted barrel and muzzle brake aside, the Ruger Gen 2 Ranch in 308 is the same gun as the Gen 2 Patrol Rifle. Is this truly the case? It's probably very obvious to most of you but I'm looking at these two as a hunting rifle and want to make sure I'm correct.

Only difference is color scheme, flutes in barrel, and the brake. I have a ranch and my brother in law has the patrol. Patrol feels a little heavier due to fluting on the ranch. Other than that I saw no difference.
